Programs Health and Wellness Action Advocates Who We Are The Health and Wellness Action Advocates (HWAA) is a monthly gathering of people who have first hand experience in the mental health service system. We self identify as peers, survivors, consumers and/or clients. We are an interactive advocacy group dedicated to improving housing and mental health services for all people with psychiatric disabilities in San Francisco. Goals

View minutes from our last meeting For Your Health: A Resource Kit MHA-SF and HWAA believe that everyone should have access to basic necessities that empower them to lead healthy lives. To meet this need, HWAA members assembled a Resource Booklet for people with mental health needs living in San Francisco. The organizations listed in the Resource Booklet provide assistance and support in the following areas: Crisis Lines, Mental Health Services, Physical Health/Medical Service, Temporary Shelter, Support Groups, Advocacy, and Legal Help. |
